United Doctors Front Association says that medical students are very confused. As of now, due to the advance date of NEET PG exam, due to the things going on, they are not able to focus on their studies as well.
Why want to postpone NEET PG 2023?
In a letter sent to the Health Minister, the medical association has written, 'Recently, on January 10, 2023, the special stray round of NEET PG 2022 counseling has been completed. When many NEET PG candidates were busy in counseling session. During this, he could not get a chance to prepare for the upcoming examination. Therefore, we appeal to pay immediate attention to this matter and do justice to the NEET PG candidates.
The association has demanded to extend the date of NEET PG 2023 by at least two to three months. As per the current schedule released by NBEMS, NEET PG Exam 2023 is to be held on 5th March. If the NEET PG exam is postponed as per the demand, then it can be taken in June-July 2023.
Demand to change MBBS internship date
Apart from NEET PG date, Doctors Association has also demanded to revise the date of MBBS internship. The association says that many medical interns have still not qualified to sit for the PG entrance exam. According to the new guideline of National Board of Examinations (NBE) for NEET PG 2023 exam eligibility criteria, the date for completion of internship is June 30.
